Na Pali Riders recommends the 6:15 AM "early bird tour" as the best tour choice overall. Locals attest to this fact, saying that the morning tours to Na Pali Coast are the best choice for passengers wanting 1) dolphin encounters; 2) higher probability of entering sea caves; 3) the calmest ocean conditions for boating and snorkeling. DIRECTIONS TO NA PALI RIDERS
From Lihue, take Hwy. 50 to Waimea. Go to the Na Pali Riders office, located on the ocean-side of Hwy. 50. We are at the following points:
1) Across the intersection of Hwy. 50 and Hwy. 550 (Waimea Canyon Road)
2) In the same parking lot as the 'West Kauai Craft Fair'
3) If you see 'Waimea Plantation Cottages' you went too far.
